Romeo's Pizza and the Victoria Highlanders Team up to

Raise $9,700 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

ROMEO'S "Pink on the Pitch" in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation was a huge success. Highlander players wore pink jerseys that were auctioned online for the  two weeks leading up to Victoria's game v. the Whitecaps Residency and later at the stadium. Popular radio/tv personality, Ed Bain auctioned off Captain Robbie Veenhof's #7 jersey live at halftime. (It sold for $160). The game raised over $9,700 for the CBC Foundation. Fifty-Fifty winners Colleen and Sean donated back over $800 that they won in the draw.
