Jordie Hughes scored twice, his 6th and 7th of the season to lead the Highlanders back from a 0-1 deficit and take the first leg of their Washington road trip Friday night with a convincing 4-1 win in Seattle over the Crossfire. Hughes scored at 68 minutes to erase the Crossfire early lead, before Craig Gorman's with his third, scored the eventual winner soon after. Winger Kareem Henry scored his second of the year before Hughes iced the game with his second at 80 minutes. Brandon Watson picked up the win in net as veteran Trevor Stiles is still week-to-week with concussion symptons. With the win, the Highlanders moved into first place overall in the PDL.
