The Victoria Highlander Women put on another show at Bear Mountain Stadium on Sunday as they controlled the play in the second half and walked away with a tough 3-0 win over a vastly improved TSS side.
The first half saw some solid football from both sides as the Victoria Women, who easily won thier last match versus the Richmond side by a 5-1 score, were frustrated by surprisingly stingy TSS defence. Liz Hansen scored her 17th goal of the season in 68th minute when she capped off a nice pass from Mallory Hackett. Jackie Snell widened the lead in the 74th before Hansen finished TSS off in the 84th with her league leading 18th goal of the season. Tanya Jones recorded the clean sheet for the Highlanders who have not conceded a goal for five straight matches.
