Victoria has always been a hotbed for soccer talent with many of it's local players going on to represent Canada on the International stage.  In celebration of Victoria’s 150 yr Anniversary and Canadian Soccer Association 100 yr Anniversary the Victoria Highlanders FC are hosting a Charity Match between the Canadian Soccer Legends and the Greater Victoria Firefighters on July 29th at 3pm at Royal Athletic Park with the proceeds going to the Archie Courtnall Center. 

 

In addition to several players that have represented our Country with the Canadian Soccer Association we have also invited several pro athletes with ties to Victoria and the local area. 

 

Please help us make this the event of the summer and join the Victoria soccer community as we support a great local cause.

 

Tickets will be available at Soccerworld starting the week of July 10 at a cost of $2 for

students and seniors, $5 for adults and kids 12 and under are free. Tickets will also be

sold at the gate.

 

The Highlanders are conducting an auction on their web page for the chance to play

with the Legends. 2 Roster spots are available to the highest bidder.

Social Event will be held at the Strathcona Hotel following the match.
