Peninsula Co-op Win Castaways tourney

The Peninsula Co-op Women's team (Metro Women's Soccer League) won the Castaways tournament in the open division this past weekend.  The team was comprised of 1st team players, Prospects and former Highlanders players.  The team finished the tourney with 5 wins and no losses, scoring 17 goals and letting in only 3.  The team entered this tourney in an effort to get some games in prior to the start of the upcoming season in the Metro Women's Soccer League on September 9th away vs. SurDel.  Thanks to all fans that supported the team over the weekend.
