I have bought seasons' tickets along with a handful of other Vancouver Southsiders and am looking forward to cheering alongside the Highlanders fans in the years to come. Let's keep this team in Victoria!!!

I have enlisted 3 more southsiders meself who have also bought season's tix. I expect at least 10+ of us will be coming over off and on throughout the season for Highlanders home games.

Good job, Desert Fox!!! Every time I check here, the season ticket thermometer (my suggestion, I not-so-humbly add) has gone up a few more tickets. I'm glad that's the case.

I live in Duncan, or else I'd be better able to push season tickets at friends. However, if Vancouver fans are buying, so can people here in Cowichan.

What is the realistic expectation? After 200 last year, IMO 500 would be fantastic (150% growth); so for me 1,500 seems impossible (a whopping 750% increase). I think 1,500 is like an opening gambit in a negotiation; set your sights high, and all that. However, on the other hand, it can be achieved if everyone who watched, say, 3 games last season buys one. What we all do know is that others have to step up, because Mr Campbell can't be expected to lose money when all he is asking from fans is to buy season tickets.

What I hope to see is steady sales from parents and players in all the local youth clubs over the spring - I hope Julie and the club are able to turn the involvement from Saanich, Bays, Lakehill, etc into ticket sales.

Great idea! Keep 'em coming and that goes for everyone else too.

If you can think of something that the Highlanders site needs, please let me know!

Thanks

Jason

Hi Jason. If I lived in Victoria I would be much better able to "push" the idea of Highlanders tickets on people I know, but from Duncan it's a stretch.

What are the Highlanders plans to market to families in the Oak Bay, Gorge, Lakehill, and Saanich clubs when local youth soccer play resumes? How can the sponsorship of VHFC by those local clubs be taken advantage of?
