A suggestion for Saturday - a few of us plan to hit the Highland games, then make our way down to the Tard & Wanker for a beer (no!) to catch the shuttle out to the match this weekend. Might be a lot of fun to get a whole gang together? Anyway, we'll be in the beer garden. In kilts. And Highlanders jerseys. Jus' sayin'

And the world heavies are on this year. Quite the event to have here. They've also got 2 beer gardens this year. One by the music tent, and one up where the Heavy Events are taking place. Lighthouse, has brewed a special Scottish Highland Games session beer for the occasion. It's pretty darn good. Malty and hoppy, in other words flavourful, but not too high in alcohol, so you don't get too blotto whilst sipping them in the (knock on wood) sun

Looking forward to having a few at the games, and then heading out to the stadium to welcome our boys back from their successful road trip. Should be a good one. OH and it's vs. Abbotsford too. We can welcome Colin Miller back to the grounds, for real this time, and hopefully beat his team to boot
